Day centres are places for older people, disabled people or people who need extra support to take part in activities, catch up with friends and have lunch or a cup of tea.

Some centres offer chiropody or hairdressing for a small charge, or arrange trips out for groups of their visitors.

Some offer accessible transport to get to and from the day centre.

Some day centres and their activities are open to everyone. Other centres are more specialised and we would need to assess you before you could use them or take part in their activities. See assessing your care needs.
